CITT - Child Improvement Through Therapy

Funding Capabilities

CITT funds 50% of a family’s out of pocket expense, to a maximum of $45 per hour of therapy. In order to qualify for services, the child must receive an evaluation by a licensed physical or occupational therapist, or speech and language pathologist of the family’s choosing. The written evaluation is submitted with an application form. Applications and evaluations are received by CITT and if accepted, partial funding of the child’s therapy will be provided for 6 months. Families may reapply to cover the next six months of therapy. A progress note from the child’s licensed therapist is required to continue funding.

How Children Qualify for CITT Funds

The child must receive an evaluation by a licensed physical therapist, occupational therapist and/or speech and language pathologist. (click here for a current list of providers)
The written evaluation is then submitted, along with a CITT application, stating the need for therapy services.
The application and evaluation are reviewed by board certified therapists, if criteria are met, partial funding of the child’s therapy will be provided for a specified period of time.

The child may receive therapy from a licensed therapist of the family’s choosing.
